Sr. Carmel O’Brien (Loreto Convent, Kilkenny and late of Viper, Kells, Co. Kilkenny. October 14th 2018 (peacefully) in the loving care of the staff at Drakelands House Nursing Home. Predeceased by her brothers Fr. John, Lar, Phil and Tom and her sister Lily (Lannigan). Deeply regretted by her loving Community, her brother Pat and his family in Melbourne, Australia, sisters-in-law Mairead (Drea) and Rita (O’Brien), nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.

Reposing at Hehir’s Funeral Home from 5.30p.m. on Monday (Oct. 15th) with Funeral Prayers at 6.30p.m. followed by removal to St. Canice’s Church with evening Prayer on arrival. Funeral Mass on Tuesday at 12 noon followed by burial in the Convent Cemetery.
